To be the expressing and true face of the country and the citizen and the official representative of the journalists and speak on their behalf inside and outside the Kingdom, as well as an active player in developing journalism and preserving the traditions and ethics of the profession.


To seek the advancement and development of the national journalism and the professional and cultural level of the journalists and to protect their rights and defend their interests. To work on ensuring the required freedom for the journalists in order to perform their duties. To maintain the traditions and ethics of the profession and set out the ethical and professional standards.
